Continuing Care

What is ‘Continuing Care’?
When you return for a follow up visit after having completed a course of treatment, we describe this as ‘continuing care’ instead of the more familiar term ‘check up’. This is to stress the fact that continuing care is what is required if your warm, wet, bacteria coated mouth is going to work well, look good, taste nice, and smell pleasant. It is also worth mentioning that the services of your dentist are the most expensive part of dental care, but the preventive maintenance undertaken as ‘continuing care’ costs you a lot less per year than the average person will spend on their hair.

Finally, irrespective of cost, if you are looking at preserving your teeth over the long term, the services of our hygiene department are the most valuable treatment we can offer you.
