Dr Rakesh Jivan | Kawana Dentist

Rakesh is a UK graduate receiving his Bachelors of Dental Surgery from the University of Birmingham in 2000. After a few years within the National Health Service, he returned to University to complete his postgraduate studies in Restorative Dentistry at University College, London prior to setting up his own private practice in Royal Leamington Spa in the West Midlands.

Rakesh developed a keen interest in the treatment of nervous patients and those with complex dental problems dividing his time between general practice and teaching/lecturing throughout the UK and Ireland. He sold his practice at the end of 2010 to follow his dream of living in Australia and emigrated to the warmer climate of the Sunshine Coast in 2011.

He is a an enthusiastic, caring and compassionate dentist who thrives on providing his patients with the best dental care. His passion for high quality dentistry combined with a gentle approach is something he is very proud of and is especially proud to a part of the family at Avenue Dental, Kawana.

Outside of work, Rakesh has fully embraced the Coastal lifestyle with a new found love of Stand-Up Paddleboarding, fishing, swimming, photography, travel and cooking. He loves to keep active and spend time with his friends on the coast experiencing everything the coast has to offer.
