What a wonderful time it has been for Steve over the past couple of years! In 2008, he married the lovely Catriona, and then decided to put his marriage to test by embarking on renovations in 2009. All went well, and at the end of 2009, they heard the patter of tiny feet (of the four-legged furry kind), in their new home. After a troubled beginning, little Rowdy, a Beagle cross Cocker Spaniel, has certainly managed to live up to his name. They have since decided to add to their family and Catriona gave birth to little baby Archie in April 2011.

On the dental front, after six years of university life, Steve graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science with First Class Honours. After graduating, Steve was lured to the lifestyle of Caloundra and the Sunshine Coast and joined the Avenue Dental family in 2005.

Steve is strongly committed to continuing education, attends numerous courses each year, and also helped establish a study club in 2006; of which he is vice-president. Steve’s particular interests in dentistry are crown and bridgework, implants and cosmetic dentistry. Steve currently works one day a week at an implant specialty clinic in Brisbane to further improve his skills with implants.

Outside of dentistry, Steve loves going to the gym and generally staying fit. He has started surfing and absolutely loves it (although he is still perfecting his skills). Steve also loves snowboarding and tries to get away to somewhere a bit colder than the Sunshine Coast as often as he can. Other interests of Steve’s include food (eating, not cooking), traveling, catching up with friends and family, or simply a BBQ on the back patio.
