What is ‘Continuing Care’?

When you return for a follow up visit after having completed a course of treatment, we describe this as ‘continuing care’ instead of the more familiar term ‘check up’. This is to stress the fact that continuing care is what is required if you want to maintain healthy, happy, functional, attractive teeth for the rest of your life. It is also worth mentioning that by having regular continuing care appointments we can notice problems early or prevent potential problems from occurring, which saves you money and time at the dentist.
