Oral Health Care Vouchers

If you are on a waiting list for public dental treatment, you may be offered an oral health care voucher to complete your dental treatment with a private practice. All of our locations across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane accept oral health care vouchers. There are two different vouchers that can be given to you, either a General Voucher or an Emergency Voucher.

General Oral Health Care Voucher

This voucher entitles you to up to $750.00 worth of dental treatment.
Your first visit at your chosen location on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane will entail a full examination, xrays and hygiene appointment.
From here if there is any dental treatment that needs to be completed we will organise a second appointment for you to complete more treatment, (up too the $750.00)
If there is more than $750.00 worth of treatment to be completed, we will create a treatment plan to send back to the Oral Health Care services for them to either finish in the public system, or a second voucher can sometimes be issued.

Emergency Oral Health Care Voucher

This voucher entitles you to up to $260.00 worth of emergency dental treatment. These vouchers are usually given due to a toothache or broken tooth. Your visit to our Sunshine Coast and Brisbane practice will be to address and resolve the tooth that is giving you dental trouble. We are unable to provide hygiene appointments on these vouchers.

Please note that all Oral Health Care Vouchers will have expiry dates, in which all dental treatment needs to be completed prior to this date.

To be eligible to receive a government voucher for dental care, you must be a Queensland resident and holding any of the following valid concession cards:

• Pensioner Concession Card issued by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs
• Pension Concession Card issued by Centrelink
• Health Care Card
• Commonwealth Seniors Health Card
• Queensland Seniors Card
