Hi there, my name is Aleisha and I am a Dental Assistant at Avenue Dental Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.

I have been working in the dental industry for 6 years and I have been working here at Avenue Dental in Caloundra for the past 3 years. My favourite dental procedure is anything involving surgery – I love extractions and I enjoy working with patients requiring sedation such as happy gas or twilight sedation. I also enjoy full smile makeovers, its fulfilling to see someone regain confidence in their smile. 

What do you love most about working in the dental industry? 

My favourite part about being a dental assistant is working closely with patients and helping to educate them on their oral health. Its incredibly rewarding to help patients come in for their dental appointment and leave with a positive experience and a lot of the time, positive results come from some pretty small changes.
