Dr Daniel Sun and Dentistry
Daniel grew up in Singapore and moved to Australia to pursue his passion for dentistry after completing his military service. He graduated with first-class honours from the University of Queensland School of Dentistry and was awarded the prestigious University Medal. Following his graduation, Daniel gained invaluable experience working in a busy private practice in Bundaberg. This experience allowed him to refine his clinical skills, manage a wide variety of complex dental cases, and develop a deep understanding of patient care.
Now, as a member of Avenue Dental Maroochydore, Daniel is excited to bring his expertise to a new community. He is particularly enthusiastic about joining a team that shares his commitment to excellence in dental care. The collaborative and supportive environment at Avenue Dental Maroochydore provides the perfect platform for Daniel to continue his professional growth and deliver exceptional care to his patients.
Daniel’s commitment to continuous learning is evident in his regular participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses. He has completed multiple advanced courses in oral surgery, dental implants, and restorative dentistry. Currently, he is close to completing a Post-Graduate Diploma in Dental Implants, which will further enhance his ability to offer comprehensive treatments to his patients.
Patients appreciate Daniel not only for his clinical skills but also for his warm and caring demeanour. He takes the time to listen to his patients, understanding their concerns and respecting their individual needs and preferences. His approach is patient-centred, ensuring that each person feels comfortable and well-informed throughout their dental treatment. Daniel’s gentle touch and attention to detail help create a stress-free and positive experience for every patient.
Beyond his professional life, Daniel is a competitive bodybuilder, winning his first bodybuilding competition in 2022. Despite his rigorous fitness regimen, Daniel is also a passionate foodie. He enjoys exploring the culinary delights of the Sunshine Coast, making it his mission to visit every café in the area. When he’s not in the gym or exploring new eateries, Daniel loves spending time with his British Shorthair cat, Barbara.
Daniel feels incredibly honoured to be part of the Avenue Dental Maroochydore team.
