Dr Paige Ipsen and Dentistry
Dr Paige is a general dentist from Victoria who graduated from La Trobe University Bendigo with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters in Dentistry.
She wanted to become a dentist after having braces during high school and says that her dentist barbie was alway her favourite as a little girl. Having the dental school in Bendigo where she grew up was also very convenient as she was able to enjoy her parents’ hospitality and annoy her brothers for a few more years.
Upon graduating, Dr Paige worked in public health dentistry. Her involvement at the hospital provided her with valuable experience in managing patients with complex medical histories and dental requirements and she became skilled in providing prompt emergency dental care.
Although ‘Step Brothers’ is one of her favourite movies, Dr Paige felt that she couldn’t live at home forever and wanted a change. She has been on the Sunshine Coast working in Bli Bli since 2019 after hearing rave reviews about the Avenue Dental Clinics from a fellow university colleague. She has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of a wonderful, growing community and creating great long term relationships with her patients based on integrity.
Her aim is to make each experience for her patients as comfortable as possible and to give each individual a clear plan which is tailored towards appropriate budget and urgency. In her spare time you will find her having a hit of tennis, getting coffee, riding her bike around or cheering on the navy Blues in the AFL. She also enjoys having friends and family come up from Bendigo to visit.

The culture at Avenue Dental is one which encourages you to be the best version of yourself both professionally and personally. Dentistry can be demanding, however I feel fully supported by my peers who love having a joke with me and keep a smile on my face. I have made some of my best friends at this practice which has made moving interstate easy.It’s fantastic to be able to learn from so many excellent dentists who are willing to pass on their knowledge and work together to achieve the most ideal results for our patients. I like being able to work towards a common goal with my teammates and then enjoy a fun reward at the end when we achieve it
