Dr Rita Goulart grew up in Brazil and since very young was determined to be a dentist. She attended the Lutheran University of Brazil where she obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery with honours in 2001. In 2003, Rita moved to New Zealand, and subsequent in 2006 to Australia, where she stablished on the Sunshine Coast since. 

Rita is passionate about providing her patients with excellent standard of care; she seeks to understand their overall general health, wellbeing, and lifestyle to plan a holistic treatment that will have a positive impact on their long-term health.  

In her advanced education, Rita completed a Mini Residency in Orthodontics for 3 years (with the philosophy of full-face orthodontics and non-extraction practices, focusing in improving overall breathing and sleeping of her patients). She started a master in sleep medicine at the University of Sydney, participated in extensive Invisalign training, Cosmetic dentistry (focusing on digital smile design, smile makeovers and veneers), and more recently her interest was directed to Facial Aesthetics and Rejuvenation (using botulin toxin, dermal fillers and laser treatments), which led her to study a diploma in Dermal Science.
