Tony grew up in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria before moving to Far North Queensland for his tertiary studies. During this time, he fell in love with the coastal lifestyle and promptly made the move to Sunshine Coast after completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University in 2019. Tony has previously worked in a number of clinics in Cairns, Darwin, and Townsville, and has also been involved in providing rural and remote dental services to underprivileged communities in the Northern Territory. He has also gained dental experience in Taiwan during his time at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, having shadowed various dental specialists and oral maxillofacial surgeons.Learn more
Like many others, Tony grew up with a fear of seeing the dentist, and it was only until he started his studies that he recognised the importance of good communication and transparency in eliminating dental anxiety. He enjoys chatting to and educating his patients, and believes in providing a holistic dental experience that addresses their oral health needs and overall satisfaction. Patients and work colleagues have often commended Tony on his calm and caring personality, stating that it puts them at ease and makes dental treatment very comfortable. Personal development is very important to Tony and he is constantly engaged in literature and education to improve both his dental and general knowledge. His goal in the near future is to be involved in philanthropic dental missions in developing countries.
Tony enjoys travelling the world with his partner, family, and friends and is always planning his next big adventure. When he is not in some obscure part of the world or in the dental surgery, you can find him exercising at the gym, chilling at your local coffee shop, or at home having the occasional Netflix binge.
