Hi there, my name is Simone and I have been working for Avenue Dental Maroochydore since July 2020. Since stepping into the world of dental, I have completed my Cert III in Dental Assisting and I’m currently studying my Cert 4 in Dental Radiography. This will allow me to take x-rays for our patients and help out our Dentist’s even more!

I am Maroochydore’s Clinical Coordinator, where I facilitate the daily operations of the clinic by coordinating patient care, maintaining supplies, equipment, inventory and supporting my Practice Manager with any extra jobs and duties. I ensure efficient running of the clinical side on a day-to-day basis whilst supporting the assistants with any extra training. You will mainly find me working alongside Dr Rita Goulart who has a special interest in Invisalign, facial aesthetics, Fotona laser treatments and sleep medicine.

My passion is our patients having positive experiences at Avenue Dental Maroochydore. We pride ourselves in delivering the highest standards of dentistry. I have worked alongside many of the highly experienced dentists here at Avenue Dental, including assisting for dental Implants, IV sedation, root canal treatment, wisdom teeth removal, invisalign and my favorite cosmetic smile makeovers.

Outside of work you will find me relaxing at the beautiful beaches along the Sunshine Coast.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THE CULTURE OF AVENUE DENTAL?

The culture at Avenue dental is none like any other place I have ever worked. My teammates have become my friends, I find so much joy in coming to work and seeing everyone. Everyone is super supportive and motivating, there isn’t one person here who isn’t trying their hardest everyday to achieve their goals. Everyone is super driven and we have only to thank our management team for that. Amy and Johan are extremely diligent and organise bob meetings every 3 months for staff members to see how we are tracking with our goals. They are always open to feedback which I really love. The care for patients here is to the next level where we wow patients with presents or gifts and I find it so heart warming.
