About Gladys
Born and raised in the Philippines, Gladys moved to Australia at the age of 16 to a rural Queensland town where she finished high school. After high school, she was offered a job as a dental assistant, where she saw firsthand how crucial oral health is to overall well-being. This sparked her passion for dentistry and a desire to change the negative stigma around it. She went on to study Dental Technology and Dental Health Science at Griffith University, earning awards and graduating with Academic Excellence. During her studies, she discovered Avenue Dental and felt an instant connection with their mission. Now based in Caloundra, she’s thrilled to be part of a team that truly cares about making every patient feel comfortable and delivering the best care possible.
In Gladys’ free time, she likes to keep fit by going to gym most mornings before work, taking her sweet Groodle out for a walk, or simply sitting on the balcony reading a book. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and quite often enjoys a sunrise walk along the beach listening to the waves crashing and the birds chirping.
