Our Journey

From Caloundra to Beyond

Avenue Dental began its journey in 1990 in the beautiful coastal town of Caloundra. From these humble beginnings, we have grown steadily, expanding across the Sunshine Coast, into Brisbane, and now interstate into Adelaide. Our Leadership

Our Leadership – Local Dentists Who Lead With Heart

At Avenue Dental, our leadership isn’t just about business growth, it’s about genuine care for the communities we serve. We believe that local leadership is the foundation of exceptional patient care. That’s why our managing partners are not only experienced dentists but also locals who truly understand the people, lifestyle, and needs of each area.

Our CEO team, Dr Steve Dudgeon and Dr Eli Burger, perfectly embody this community-first approach. Both are highly respected Sunshine Coast dentists who live right here in our region. You’ll often find them working hands-on from our flagship Caloundra dental practice, greeting patients, mentoring our teams, and ensuring our values are reflected in every patient experience.

This close connection to our roots keeps Avenue Dental grounded, even as we continue to grow across Queensland and beyond. By having leadership that’s deeply invested in local relationships, we’re able to provide dental care that’s not only clinically excellent but also warm, personalised, and community-focused, the kind of care that makes our patients feel like family.
