Originally from Singapore, Irvin graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science with First Class Honours. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Irvin is dedicated to fostering connections with patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups. He places high importance on building strong rapport and getting to know patients as individuals. Irvin is committed to providing personalised attention to each specific needs, making every patient feel at ease during each visit.

Prior to joining the Avenue Dental Team, Irvin has lived and worked in regional Queensland for the past three years, acquiring a broad spectrum of dental expertise. He has a keen interest in utilising digital dentistry and photography to educate patients and perform smile makeovers while restoring function or enhancing aesthetics.

Irvin strongly believes in continuous training and education with respect to the latest dental technologies. Currently, his greatest passion is in the field of clear aligners. He is motivated to incorporate this treatment modality into his day-to-day practice and treatment plans to achieve greater results with smile makeovers.

Outside of dentistry, Irvin spends his weekends indulging in good food with the company of friends. He is always on the hunt for the next food hype and cannot resist a good sashimi platter nor his favourite dessert – tiramisu. Feel free to recommend any good food places in the area to Irvin! Because of his love for food, he has to work it off at the gym and does it on weekdays after work. He also enjoys being active and the outdoors – going on nature hikes and camping trips – with his favourite spot being Lake Moogerah. His most memorable outdoor adventure would have to be skydiving in Airlie Beach!
