Being born and raised in Brisbane, Holly agrees there’s no place like home. Spending her formative years in the Redlands where she spent her weekends sailing around the bay islands with her family.
About Holly
Holly began her tertiary education with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a special interest in anatomy and microbiology. Following this she became a sessional academic, teaching her special interests whilst completing a Masters of Applied Science in Anthropology. This niche knowledge led her to the realm of forensic science. Whilst Holly found this work immensely interesting, she was missing the best part of healthcare, the patients! Initially completing a Bachelor of Dental Health Science followed by a Master of Dentistry at Griffith University.
In her downtime, Holly enjoys being creative with her sewing machine making clothes or painting watercolours. When the weather is good, you‘ll find her learning kite surf with her Dad back in the Redlands. Holly is an avid reader and enjoys a good science fiction novel, so feel free to pass on your favourite book recommendations. Her top picks include Red Rising, Mortal Engines and the Thursday Murder Club.
