A personalised consultation
Every new patient in our Invisalign department begins with a free, personalized consultation. Your first orthodontic visit with us is about getting to know you: your concerns, your expectations, your life. Once we’ve had a chance to chat, we will provide a thorough visual Invisalign examination and maybe even share some information about your mouth that you didn’t yet know. We will give insights as to the best treatment options for your unique situation and answer any questions you may have.
What’s involved
During your free initial Invisalign consultation, we will:

- Discuss your particular concerns about your teeth, smile, and bite

- Take or review radiographs (x-rays) as needed to allow a more complete diagnosis

Ready for Invisalign treatment
If you are ready for Invisalign treatment, we will want to get to know you even more thoroughly to ensure we do our best for you. We will schedule an Invisalign appointment and an Invisalign treatment planning appointment. The first of these appointments allows us to gather comprehensive information through photographs, digital scans, impressions, and radiographs (x-rays). The treatment planning appointment is scheduled to allow us to review this information and discuss Invisalign treatment options.
There can be multiple ways to address your Invisalign concerns it’s our responsibility to allow you the time to understand those ways and choose what is best for you. Observation Care Program
Sometimes, with young patients, Invisalign treatment is not yet appropriate. In these instances, we will place your child in our Observation Care Program. It is extremely important to monitor the growth and development of the teeth and jaws to intercept any orthodontic problems early. In addition to monitoring the development of adult teeth, we will also want to ensure your child’s bite is developing correctly. Jaw growth and bite problems are related to growth patterns and need to be addressed at the proper stage of maturation. This is an individual time frame not necessarily related to age directly, as everyone grows at their own rate and time. During this observation period, we will determine the optimal time to begin orthodontic treatment to achieve a beautiful, healthy smile.
