Aliesha started her journey with Avenue Dental in 2016 after deciding to switch careers from travel to dental! She began working in the Hygiene Department at Avenue Dental Caloundra, servicing patients from all over the coast including Banya, Nirimba, Bellvista, Bells Creek and Caloundra west. Her role at Caloundra quickly sparked a growing passion for Avenue Dental’s preventative care programme, so from there Aliesha quickly transitioned into a hygiene co-ordinator role. This lead to her training over 15 new hygiene staff members, completing her Cert III in Dental Assisting and being cross trained as a dental receptionist. Her time on reception was spent learning and growing as a WOW and Internal Marketing Co-Ordinator which involved organising team dress up days, social media marketing and patient competitions and give aways.
After 4 years of Aliesha working at the Caloundra practice on the Sunshine Coast, Avenue Dental decided to expand and open in a brand new location – Northlakes! Aliesha was offered the opportunity to work at our brand new Northlakes practice as Practice Manager. She worked alongside the other practice managers, builders, tradies and managing partners to get the practice fit-out complete within 5 weeks. And after a very short few weeks the practice was thriving and patient books were full! Aliesha spent 12 months building up the practice, team culture and patient base at Avenue Dental Northlakes, but the Sunshine Coast is where her heart truly lies. So she has now migrated back up the other end of the highway, to our Baringa team where you’ll find her in her newest role as a full time Reception Leader.
She gets so excited to come to work each day with her Avenue Baringa team, and she feels so blessed to call the team members of Avenue Dental her second family!
She loves to stay fit, healthy, and active in her everyday life. You’ll find her at the gym every morning! In 2020 she built her first home in Mooloolah Valley on the Sunshine Coast, where she lives with her two little (very spoilt) fur babies, and soon-to-be husband! Her main passion in life is travelling and adventuring. She can’t wait to tick off everything on her bucket list and travel the world! Her favourite city she’s visited so far is Rome – who doesn’t love unlimited pizza, pasta and gelato!
