Dr Alex Eskander and Dentistry
Raised on the Gold Coast, Alex has always enjoyed the quiet life, finding simple pleasures in the small everyday wins. Before becoming a dentist, he worked previously as a high school tutor who was very popular with his students for being understanding, patient, fun and non-judgemental. He also has previous experience in healthcare as a sleep study assistant. Working in clinics and hospitals from Tweed Heads to Logan allowed him to meet a wide variety of patients of all ages. He believes this was yet another valuable experience in further understanding and caring for those around him.
Since having graduated from Griffith University on the Gold Coast with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Masters of Dentistry, Alex was fortunate enough to have gained yet more experience working in rural and urban locations.
Bringing all of these experiences together, along with a positive outlook that matches the feeling of the Avenue Dental family, resulted in patients finding themselves much more comfortable and at ease during their dental appointments. Often times commenting on his gentle, caring and non-judgmental chairside manner. This is especially true from those who were previously anxious about dental appointments. It is often from these situations where Alex has formed the best bonds with his patients. As he truly wishes for everyone to leave with a bigger and happier smile than when they first walked in.
During his time off, Alex enjoys balancing a good mix of different activities like going to the gym, cooking at home, going on relaxing drives, and spending time with his family and close friends.
