Born in Japan, Michael and his family moved to the Gold Coast where he completed all his schooling as well as his dental degree at Griffiths University. Since graduating in 2015, Michael has practiced dentistry all over Queensland but was drawn by the principles of Avenue Dental which has now led to him working at the North Lakes practice.

Although Michael enjoys all aspects of dentistry such as full mouth rehabilitations and wisdom teeth removal, he feels extreme joy in being able to build a patient’s confidence by getting rid of any insecurities they may have with their teeth, whether it be a cosmetic or functional. He loves the challenge that not one patient is the same and believes that his job as a dentist is to make sure each of his patients leave the practice feeling important and looked after, while eliminating any fears of the dentist they may have initially had.
