Born and raised in Sydney, Angela is now a proud Brisbane local and loves the Sunshine State. She graduated from the University of Queensland with her Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) and was selected for the Australian Dental Graduate of the Year program run by Avenue Dental. Connected to the amazing values of the like-minded team, she joined North Lakes Avenue Dental in 2020. Angela has extensive experience after working in the Fraser Coast and Darling Downs regions, allowing her to strengthen her skills even further.
The aspects that most attracted Angela to dentistry were the intricate procedural techniques and interacting with her patients. She loves how dentistry allows practitioners to treat the patient as a whole, beyond just a tooth. Angela prides herself on being approachable and understanding of every patient’s unique situation. It is very important to Angela that her patients have their dental needs met and walk out with a huge smile. Her gentle manner enables anxious patients to feel at ease.
Angela loves all aspects of dentistry, especially cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and treating children. As an active member of the Australian Dental Association in Queensland, she enjoys solidifying and expanding her dental skills by attending Continuing Professional Development courses throughout the year. Also a passionate volunteer, Angela provides much needed dental care to local homeless and refugee populations on a regular basis. She hopes to extend these ventures overseas in the future.
When she is not in the clinic restoring smiles, you may find Angela baking desserts, swimming, catching up with friends at local cafes, and caring for her growing collection of indoor plants. She loves being by the ocean and believes Sunshine Coast is definitely home to the best beaches. One of the most interesting things she has done in her life is hiking around Machu Picchu in Peru. Angela is excited to hear more fascinating stories from her patients!
