His upbringing gave him a deep appreciation for the way a person’s relationship with their oral health evolves throughout life – and being present to support patients through those more challenging chapters is something he finds profoundly rewarding.
About Felix
Growing up in Auckland, New Zealand, Felix developed a deep curiosity for the health sciences from an early age, before making the move across the Tasman to pursue his ambitions in Australia. He completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, before going on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne. During his studies, Felix accumulated over 1000 hours of clinical operator experience across metropolitan and rural settings in Victoria through Dental Health Services Victoria, and has contributed to peer-reviewed research published in internationally recognised journals — reflecting his dedication to evidence-based care.
New to the Sunshine Coast, Felix is eagerly embracing the opportunity to discover everything the Beerwah region and its surroundings have to offer. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys music, photography, badminton, Chinese calligraphy and painting, and exploring new places. His multicultural background and wide range of interests enrich the warmth and curiosity he brings to every patient interaction. Felix looks forward to becoming a valued part of the Beerwah community and to building lasting relationships through exceptional, personalised dental care at Avenue Dental Beerwah.
