Dr Heath Fraser
Heath was born south of the border in Newcastle, NSW in a very rural area. His family moved to Queensland in the early 1990s where they settled in Brisbane.
Dentistry had been Heath’s goal for most of high school and was over the moon to be accepted into the University of Queensland School of Dentistry and graduated from the program with honours in 2005. After a short stint in northern Queensland, Heath settled here on the Sunshine Coast with his wife Roxie (the Australian Marathon Champion 2010). Heath and Roxie married in early 2010 and have recently had a little addition to their family, Peanut. Yes that would be a strange name for a baby but luckily he is talking about their kitten!
Dentistry is something Heath has found very rewarding and enjoyable which in turn, results in a good experience for his patients. Definitely the most rewarding part of dentistry for Heath is transforming smiles and achieving great cosmetic results.
In 2011 Heath joined the Avenue Dental family, opening up the newest of the Avenue Dental practices at Kawana. Heath strongly believes the Avenue Dental approach to dentistry suits his philosophy on how dentistry should be delivered. Outside of dentistry Heath likes to go to the gym, hang out with friends and watch his wife Roxie run marathons! Heath also likes to travel and has recently been to Cambodia to visit a local orphanage for which he helped raise much needed funds.
