Dr Kelly Webster and Dentistry
Kelly grew up in Brisbane where she gained a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at The University of Queensland before moving to study at Charles Sturt University in Orange, New South Wales, to complete her Bachelor of Dental Science.
Kelly received the overall highest proficiency in Fixed prosthodontics (crowns and bridge) and the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award, which is awarded to the graduate who demonstrates great potential for developing into an outstanding leader in the dental profession.
After graduating, Kelly worked for several years in both private and public practices in New South Wales. She then decided to move back to her home state of Queensland to put down roots with her young family and is excited by the opportunity to join Avenue Family.
Kelly is passionate about all facets of general dentistry, with a special interest in smile makeovers, oral surgery and preventative care. Kelly believes in prevention for retention, as well as helping to educate and equip her patients with the knowledge and skills to maintain and keep their teeth for life. Kelly loves the positive impact that smile makeovers have on her patient’s lives, not only improving the appearance of her patient’s smiles but also the long-term functionality.
Kelly believes in making dental care accessible to patients who are particularly anxious about a trip to the dentist. It is her goal to build a relationship with each of her patients, that allows her to support you through your treatment journey and make the experience as comfortable as possible.
Outside of work, you will find Kelly chasing around her baby girl and their Australian Cattle Dog, Ralph. She also enjoys discovering all the natural beauty the Sunshine Coast has to offer, from relaxing on the beach to exploring some of the amazing walks, hikes and climbs in the surrounding region.
Kelly feels truly lucky to have found such a supportive team, in a stunning location, doing what she loves. She looks forward to taking care of her patient needs long-term and creating great friendships along the way. Please say hello to Kelly next time you are in.
