Natalynn’s journey into the world of dentistry began in her hometown in Penang, Malaysia, where she developed a love for the field ever since she had her braces on in high school. This dream led her to pursue her Bachelor of Dental Science degree at the University of Queensland.

After graduating, Natalynn spent three fulfilling years working in Bargara and Bundaberg, where she honed her skills and built lasting relationships with her patients. Seeking a change in scenery, both Natalynn and her partner decided to move to the beautiful Sunshine Coast, where she continues to provide exceptional care to the local community.

Her philosophy centers around providing exceptional dental care with a personal touch, making sure each patient is not only treated effectively but also feels comfortable and at ease during their visits. Natalynn is committed to tailoring treatment plans to meet each patient’s unique needs. Her dedication to patient care is evident in her gentle approach to ensure optimal oral health and radiant smiles for all her patients.

Natalynn is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry but has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. She is currently pursuing her Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics, allowing her to offer the latest and most effective treatments to her patients. She believes in lifelong learning and constantly keeps up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry as well as regularly taking courses to enhance her skills.

Outside of dentistry, Natalynn enjoys arts and crafts and trialling out fitness classes. She has a British Shorthair cat named Barbara, who adds joy to her everyday life (and takes up lots of storage space in her phone, feel free to ask her for a photo, she would gladly scroll through a few for you). Growing up in Penang, a food haven, Natalynn loves exploring different cafes and restaurants. Again, feel free to recommend any good places to her and best believe she would make a trip there as soon as she can!

Natalynn is fluent in both English and Mandarin, enabling her to connect with patients of various background. She looks forward to seeing you soon in Avenue Dental Baringa!
