Hi! My name is Hannah, and I am a Dental Assistant at Avenue Dental Murrumba Downs !

I have been working in dentistry since graduating high school. I started with my Certificate 3 in dental assisting with no idea of what dental entailed but shortly after starting my certificate I started working for my first dental clinic where my love for the dental industry and patient care grew. I have worked alongside multiple dentists with different special interests such as Implant and surgery, Endodontics and general dentistry but it doesn’t just stop at assisting. I’ve had the opportunity to work in reception roles and making lab work with the use of dental lab technology such as resin printers and 3D scanners.

What do you love most about working in the dental industry?

I was lucky enough to start working for Avenue Dental Murrumba Downs in October 2024 as I was wanting to work much closer to home and have loved every moment of patient care and the learning that comes with it. I love learning and growing my dental knowledge that much that in early 2024 I decided to start my Certificate 4 in dental assisting which is due to finish next year where I am loving every minute of it.

Outside of work you’ll find me:  You can find me at home relaxing with my 2 sausage dogs Gunnar and Murph, starting new hobbies or spending time with friends or family.
