Hey My name is Lauren,
In 2013 I was given the opportunity to work in the dental industry, I found myself learning new things everyday and fell in love with all things dental. In 2014 I graduated with a Certificate 3 in dental assisting. Since then I have assisted multiple dentist an enjoy working with new staff members.

In 2020 I became part of the Avenue dental family with being based in our Bli Bli clinic. Avenue Dental has welcomed me with opened arms and has taught me so much in a short amount of time. I’m excited for my future with Avenue Dental and look forward to learning and growing more each day both professionally and personally.

I have grown up on the Sunshine Coast and will forever call it home, Prior to Covid I have traveled to China and Hawaii. I fell in love with All things travel, you could say I’ve caught the travel bug!

I plan to travel more in the future and experience different countries and cultures. Most weekends you can find me enjoy the Coast’s beautiful weather surrounded by friends and family.

I enjoy spending my time going to the beach, exploring the hills, the gym and eating delicious food.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THE CULTURE OF AVENUE DENTAL?

The culture at avenue dental is outstanding!I have never worked with such an amazing group of people! Everyone is always happy to come to work and do an amazing job! Internally we are reward for our efforts from have a coffee bought for us to gift cards, this builds the morale and makes the staff feel their hard work is acknowledged and appreciated.We all thrive on supporting and encouraging each other through every endeavour.
At ADBB you won’t go far with out hearing laughter, we love to talk and Joke together.We are encouraged to talk to each other and to be open to listening to others.Working in such a large group of people can be challenging at times, but for our group we mesh together seamlessly.This may be because we are constantly working on our ourselves using work shops and booklets.One in particular is the emotional intelligence booklet this was an eye opener!One that looked into ourselves and how we process different situations with emotions, this shows us how we make others feel in situations, but also how we process these feelings within.I am in oar of this company and it’s constant growth!
