Hello! My name is Tara and I’m a dental assistant at Avenue Dental Maroochydore.

I began this journey in early 2021 and have loved being apart of such a wonderful team who strive to be the best version of themselves and give the best possible experience for our patients every day!

Since starting I have been lucky enough to work alongside most of our dentists and hygienists at our practice but you will usually find me working alongside Dr Brendan Clarnette.

Dr Brendan Clarnette specialises in orthodontics, wisdom tooth extractions, sleep appliances as well as general dentistry and is passionate about upholding the highest possible standard of dentistry while making his patients feel at ease with his calm nature. I am so grateful to be apart of such a motivated, enthusiastic group of people who continue to grow personally and professional within their roles.

Outside of work I love to explore what the Sunshine Coast has to offer whether that be the beautiful beaches, waterfalls, mountains or anything outdoors, especially around my home in Coolum Beach.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THE CULTURE OF AVENUE DENTAL?

The work/ life balance is what I love about coming to work everyday at Avenue Dental. Being able to balance a social life and free time outside of work makes a huge difference!Another thing i love about working at ADM is the supportive and friendly staff who go out of their way for each otherwhere ever they can and they do it with a smile on their face. You can always feel comfortable and supported with such an amazing team by your side.Everyone has been so welcoming and friendly towards me, always checking in on me to see if I am doing okay or if I need help.
