Hi, my name is Tyne and I am a Dental Receptionist at Avenue Dental Caloundra.

I started my career in reception and administration before moving into operational roles across a range of industries including healthcare, mining, transport, and operations. I’m really excited to be returning to a front-facing role where I can connect with people every day and be part of a supportive and fun team.

What do you love most about working in the dental industry?
I love being part of the process where patients come in feeling unwell or in discomfort, and leave the same day already feeling some relief. Seeing the gratitude people have for the care they receive, along with the genuine relationships between patients and the team, makes the role really rewarding.

Outside of work you’ll find me:
On the hunt for a good café or restaurant with friends, getting to yoga and stretching out after a long week, enjoying a beach day, going to the movies (Gold Class is a must), or gaming on Horizon or Hogwarts Legacy and escaping into another world.

My Favourite food: 
After a trip to Japan in 2020, I developed a deep love for anything Asian cuisine. I love trying new dishes at restaurants and bringing those ideas home to recreate them myself.

My Favourite song: 
If I had to pick a favourite, I’d say You Were Meant for Me by Jewel and Zombie by The Cranberries. I’m a millennial at heart, so 90s and early 2000s music will always have me dancing and singing. More recently, I’ve fallen in love with country music, especially anything from Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Ella Langley and Kelsea Ballerini.
