At Avenue Dental, our team is everything to us! Without them we wouldn’t have achieved so many amazing things.
To kick start the year we held our FIRST ever Annual Team Retreat Day – FLOURISH.
The aim of this day is to re-energise our team, have them feeling refreshed and set some goals for themselves for 2020.
We held this at the beautiful WOTSO shared office space, located in the Sunshine Coast. If you haven’t seen the spaces available, we highly recommend checking them out!
We had gift bags for our team with : 2020 Journal, Pen, Water, Berocca, Thankyou-Mints and Workbook for the day.
We started the day led with some Yoga from the lovely instructor Bailey. She energised our minds and relaxed our bodies to kick start our day off.
We then heard from Danny, who is a champion obstacle race contender, who at one stage did a race that was NONSTOP for 48 hours (over 200km!!!). Danny spoke about mindset training and how that is the key element to be successful in anything.
Dr Stephen Dudgeon then guided the team through a morning and night time routine and how to set up your day to get the most and BEST out of each and every day.
This session was based on RAISE and PERMA (which was the format for the morning and night time routine)
We then broke for a grazing platter and morning tea to refuel and replenish ourselves!
Once the team sat back down and settled back in for the mid morning session, Dr Eli Burger presented on meditation and how beneficial it can be to not only your mindset, but your physical self.
Our lovely People and Development Coach, Stephanie Taylor, ran our team through a beautiful guided meditation to get our mindset in the correct place to set some goals for 2020!
Once we had nourished our mind with the beautiful soothing sounds of Steph’s voice, we worked through our FLOURISH booklet and set some goals for not only 2020, but also long term goals into 10-15 years time!
A massive thank-you to the WOTSO girls who came in on a Saturday to open the space for us and ensure that all our team’s needs were met! Very grateful for you ladies and the beautiful space you have at Sippy Downs!
